Do not use saline to clean your cat’s ears. Physiological saline has anti-inflammatory and sterilizing effects, but it can irritate the kitten’s ears and cause discomfort. It is recommended to use ear cleaning water specially designed for pets when cleaning cats’ ears. If your cat’s ears are not diseased, they do not need to be cleaned frequently. If your cat's ears are greasy and dusty, you can wipe them with a cotton swab dipped in appropriate amounts of water.

Steps to clean the cat’s ears:
1. Step one: Soothe the cat. You can rub and make circles in the depression behind the cat’s ears to make it feel relaxed.

2. Step 2: Lift the cat’s ears, drip the ear cleaning solution into the cat’s ears, and knead the cat’s ears for about 30 seconds.

3. Step 3: Loosen the cat’s ears and let the cat shake out the earwax and excess ear cleaning liquid on its own.

4. Step 4: Use a cotton swab to wipe the dirt on the auricle, and then gently wipe the cat’s ear canal with a tissue.
