How to deal with a turtle waking up during hibernation

1. If unexpected factors cause the turtle’s environment to heat up and the turtle wakes up from hibernation. Measures should be taken to remove the heat source and allow the turtle to re-enter hibernation as soon as possible.

2. Check the strength of the turtle's limbs and see if there is rotten skin or armor around the body. If necessary, warm it up and treat it.

3. Maintain a quiet environment. If the environment where the tortoise hibernates is too noisy, the tortoise will wake up if it feels it. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the hibernating environment of the turtle quiet.

4. Warm up the environment and end hibernation. If the tortoise has already woken up once, it is best to directly heat up the hibernation environment to completely wake up the tortoise and end the hibernation period.

Things to note when hibernating turtles

1. Humidity. The humidity needs to be maintained within a certain range, it cannot be dry, and water needs to be added regularly.

6. Take shelter from the wind. The main purpose of shelter is to reduce temperature differences.
