There are two types of food that tropical fish eat, one is artificial feed and the other is live bait. There are three types of artificial feed, namely flakes, pellets and frozen feed. This type of feed is relatively safe and nutritious, but it must be fed alternately to avoid fish being picky eaters. For live bait, water fleas or red worms are mostly chosen. Daphnia themselves are rich in protein, fat and calcium and are very suitable for feeding fish.

Notes on feeding tropical fish:

1. Diverse combinations. While ensuring normal feeding, an appropriate amount of vitamins should be added to the feed every month, one tablet each time. Try to diversify the feed to ensure the supply of various nutrients, promote the normal growth and development of fish, and also reduce the feed coefficient.

2. Timely acclimate fish to eat. After fish are acclimated to feed, they can eat bait in a timely manner and reduce the waste of bait.

3. Control the amount and frequency. There are obvious individual differences and seasonal changes in the food intake and frequency of fish, and they should be adjusted according to different individuals.
