Distinguishing male crystal shrimp and female crystal shrimp:

1. The abdomen of female shrimp will be wider and rounder than that of male shrimp.

2. The antennae of female shrimps are much shorter than those of male shrimps.

3. The back of the female shrimp is rounder and the sides will be a little swollen.

4. Observe the back of the head of the mature female shrimp. Under the light, there will be a dark shadow, which is the ovary of the female shrimp.
