Little turtles need to be fed three times a day, and the daily food intake should not exceed two-thirds of the size of the turtle's head. Because they are in the growing stage, sufficient food can ensure that they grow better. At the same time, because their food intake is relatively small and their hunger resistance is short, it is recommended to feed them three times a day.

If you choose the size of the turtle for feeding, then feed 5 pieces of baby turtle food a day for a 3 cm turtle every day. 3-5 cm can be used for 5-8 grains of baby turtle food, 5-8 cm can be used for 5-8 grains of baby turtle food, and turtles above 8 cm can be fed by feeling.

Precautions for feeding small turtles:

1. If you feed small turtles easy-to-digest food such as turtle food, three feedings is better. If you feed minced meat, small fish, shrimp and other foods, then feeding twice a day is enough.

2. Little turtles should not be fed too much each time. Overfeeding will have a certain impact on their health and hinder their better growth. For slightly larger turtles, because they have a certain ability to withstand hunger and eat a large amount of food, there is no need to mince meat and other food, just cut it into small strips and feed it directly. Just feed once a day.

3. Turtles at different stages have different requirements for food. The food for young turtles is mainly broken and small, which is convenient for them to eat. While feeding the turtle, the environment in which the turtle lives should also be regularly changed and cleaned to better ensure the growth of the little turtle.
