　1. Be a good example

First adjust your mentality and don’t make yourself feel guilty or guilty because you can’t accompany your dog at work. Before you go out every time, don’t repeatedly touch your dog and comfort your dog with your voice. Don’t tell yourself and your dog over and over again: “Be good, mommy has to go to work, stay at home. Mommy will come back to accompany you in the evening.” You." Don't say or do any of these things. Believe it or not, none of this means anything to dogs. In fact, dogs only feel the emotions of their owners through human body language, facial expressions and tone of voice. Your apologetic actions and sounds over and over again will only make the dog feel that things are bad, and will only make the dog feel that being separated from you is painful. In fact, the most important thing you should do is to let yourself and your dog feel that it is normal for mom to go to work. It’s the most normal thing to do when you’re alone for 8 hours a day, no big deal!

2. Don’t praise and reward casually

This is very difficult, I admit, it is difficult for me to do it myself. But in order for your dog to get along better with humans, necessary training is still needed. Moreover, this training must be done unanimously by all members of the family.

If you are going to start this training, then from now on, he will only be petted and rewarded after he responds correctly to commands from you and anyone in the family. This is actually a good opportunity to train your dog to obey all commands. I am definitely not encouraging everyone to train their dogs to do those little tricks. The training I am talking about is to train "sit", "lying", "sit", "come" and "non" to be 100% proficient. These commands are The most important thing! Only if the dog does these commands correctly can it be petted or rewarded. Do not pet or reward him at any other time!!! In this kind of training, that is, when he gradually gets used to not being petted and rewarded anytime and anywhere, start doing short-term separation exercises.

First, give him a toy he likes and let him play alone. When his attention is on the toy, leave him quietly and lock him in a room alone. When you leave, don't say anything to him, don't touch him, don't even make eye contact with him (don't even look at him). Close the door, and return to the room calmly when you feel that he will start to look for his owner, but do not look at him, do not touch him, and ignore his warm welcome to you. Do your own thing and wait until he calms down.Continue to repeat the previous action. Or leave the room calmly, close the door, and gradually extend the separation time. It must be done that both leaving and returning are calm, so that both he and himself can realize and get used to it: a short separation is not a big deal! These trainings should also be implemented when leaving for work every morning and returning home from get off work every evening. The key is: leave and return calmly, and don’t let your dog feel that being separated for 8 hours a day is a very bad thing.
