Uses of Albendazole Tablets

Albendazole is a highly effective and low-toxic broad-spectrum anthelmintic. It can be used clinically to expel roundworms, pinworms, tapeworms, whipworms, hookworms, Strongyloides faecalis, etc. After being metabolized into sulfoxides or sulfones in the body, it inhibits the parasite's absorption of glucose, causing glycogen depletion in the parasite, or inhibits the fumarate reductase system, hindering the production of ATP, making the parasite unable to survive and reproduce.

Dosage of Albendazole

1. To deworm pets, you need to purchase pet-specific albendazole tablets and feed them to dogs.
2. Generally, dogs under 5kg only need to be fed half a tablet, and dogs between 5-10kg need to be fed about 1-2 tablets.
3. Dogs need to be fed one albendazole tablet for every 5kg of body weight.
