Prevention of bloating in dogs

Basic rule: After feeding your dog, wait at least 2 hours before taking your dog for a walk. Alternatively, it's better to take your dog for a walk first and then give him a meal.

Symptoms of bloating in dogs

Dogs have increased saliva, congestion, and vomiting.
The dog's belly is getting bigger and bigger, starting from the back, and then to the entire belly.

Breathing becomes heavier and heavier until it becomes difficult to breathe.

Measures for dog bloating

1. Take your dog to the veterinarian immediately for diagnosis and treatment! Death can occur within 6 hours from gastric bloating!
2. Never hold the dog’s belly, as this may cause damage to other organs.
3. Let the dog choose a place to lie down in the car to avoid hurting it.
4. If possible: adopt a position where the upper body is higher and the lower body is lower.
5. Implement shock therapy immediately.
Tips: Eye reaction check
When the dog's heart stops beating, open its eyelids and you will see the pupils are dilated and the eyes are dull.
If the dog's breathing stops at this time, cardiac massage or cardiopulmonary resuscitation must be performed.
