3. Foreign matter enters the lungs, causing bronchial inflammation or pulmonary lobule inflammation.

Treatment of foreign body pneumonia

1. Expelling foreign bodies: Let the sick dog lie on its side with its hind legs raised to facilitate the expulsion of foreign bodies. At the same time, 0.2-1ml of 2% pilocarpine hydrochloride is injected subcutaneously to increase tracheal secretion and promote the rapid discharge of foreign bodies.
2. Oxygen delivery: When the dog has high difficulty breathing, oxygen should be prepared for inhalation. At the same time, inject penicillin, streptomycin, erythromycin, canamycin, gentamicin, tetracycline, or compound-sulfamethoxazole tablets for timely antibacterial treatment.
3. Intratracheal injection: use 4% formaldehyde solution or 5% menthol and 2-3ml of liquid paraffin oil, 2 times a day, 2 days as a course of treatment.
