Do dogs have double eyelids?

Some dogs have double eyelids, and some have single eyelids. Because double eyelids are a dominant gene and single eyelids are a recessive gene, there will be more dogs with double eyelids after the same proportion of mixed blood. A dog's double eyelids do not count towards the dog's appearance rating, so whether or not they have double eyelids is not important to the dog. Common dog breeds with double eyelids include Samoyeds.
