The incubation period of the enteritis type is seven to fourteen days, with vomiting, anorexia, fever, depression, and diarrhea occurring at the beginning of the disease. The diarrhea is gray or yellow, followed by tomato-like bloody stools. Myocarditis type: It is more common in young dogs under one month old. There are no characteristic symptoms at the beginning of the disease, only mild diarrhea, weakness, difficulty breathing, and death within a short period of time. The most effective way to prevent parvovirus is to vaccinate your dog.
