Purulant eye mucus in Teddy’s eyes is mainly caused by the following reasons:

1. Teddy will get angry if he eats hot food or food with too much salt, thereby stimulating the secretion of tear glands. It is recommended to adjust the dog’s diet to be mainly light.

2. Teddy’s eyes are inflamed due to bacterial or viral infection. The owner can clean up the eye feces and then use eye drops specially designed for dogs.

3. If the dog suffers from canine distemper or the dog has purulent eye droppings, the owner should take him to the hospital for treatment immediately.

4. Some Teddy dogs will have congenital tear duct obstruction, which needs to be cleaned frequently. If it is serious, surgery will be required to clear the nasolacrimal duct.

5. It may be caused by a cold and fever in your dog. You can feed it some special cold medicine. If you have poor energy, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, etc., it is best to send it to a pet hospital for examination and treatment.
