How to measure a dog’s temperature
The most accurate way to measure a dog's body temperature is the rectal temperature. We only need to insert the thermometer into the dog's anus and wait for a few minutes. Of course, we can also measure the dog’s armpit temperature, but compared to the rectal temperature, the armpit temperature is not as accurate.
Tip:
The body temperature of dogs is one degree higher than that of humans. We should not measure the body temperature of dogs by human body temperature.
