The most common clinical symptoms of pancreatitis in cats are lethargy, loss of appetite or even anorexia, and gradual weight loss. A small number of cats with acute pancreatitis will experience symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, upper abdominal pain, and shortness of breath. When the condition becomes more severe, cats may even develop shock symptoms such as hypotension and hypothermia.
