What to do if a cat has dystocia
A cat needs assisted delivery when it is difficult to give birth. If the owner can see the kitten's head or feet, he or she needs to clean his hands, put on gloves, and use Vaseline, Kesel, or other lubricating products to squeeze into the female cat's vagina. Wait for a moment, insert your little finger into the birth canal, find the fetus, grab it, gently pull it out, and then clean it. If the fetus cannot be seen, send the baby to the hospital promptly for caesarean section.
