Dog epilepsy cannot be transmitted to humans, because epilepsy in dogs is generally caused by genetics or infectious diseases such as canine distemper. It is not contagious and therefore cannot be transmitted to humans. Epilepsy in dogs will cause symptoms such as convulsions, foaming at the mouth, incontinence of urine and feces, and mental abnormalities. Once discovered, the dog needs to be taken to the pet hospital for examination and treatment immediately to avoid life-threatening consequences.
