Death time of euthanasia for dogs

After euthanasia is given to the dog, the dog will not die immediately. There will be a period of time in between. The time for complete death is about 25 minutes. During the process, the dog will not die immediately. It won't be very painful.

Methods for dog euthanasia

1. Potassium chloride method: 10% potassium chloride injection at 0.3-0.5 ml per kilogram of body weight for rapid intravenous injection.
2. Sodium pentobarbital method: rapid intravenous injection of 15 ml per kilogram of body weight or 75 mg per kilogram of body weight.
3. Saturated magnesium sulfate method: Rapid intravenous injection of 40% magnesium sulfate solution at 1 ml per kilogram of body weight.
