For cats who don’t like water, it does not mean that they don’t like water. It will not come into contact with water. If the cat accidentally falls into the water and drowns, the owner should follow the following steps to treat it. ​​​​​​

1. Although cats hate water, they can swim like a dog paddle. But you can’t swim for too long, so when the cat falls into the water, you need to rescue it immediately.

2. When you are choked by water, grab your hind legs with both hands, turn it upside down for 4-20 seconds, and shake it up and down 3 or 4 times to pour out the water in your lungs. When breathing is very weak, let the cat lie horizontally with its neck stretched out, and pull its tongue in and out in conjunction with the breathing.

3. If necessary, perform artificial respiration and heart massage, and send the patient to the hospital for treatment in a timely manner.
