Cats suffering from conjunctivitis will generally have symptoms such as tearing, redness, swelling, and sensitivity to light. In severe cases, the cat's vision may be severely reduced. The owner can clean up the cat's eye secretions every day, or treat the cat with eye drops and lysine, adjust the cat's diet, and avoid feeding the cat hard or difficult-to-digest food to promote the cat's physical recovery.
