If the cat is scratched and the skin is not broken or bleeding, should I get a cat injection?

There is no need for cat injections if the cat is scratched without breaking the skin or bleeding. Rabies is generally spread through saliva and blood. Therefore, if you are scratched and there is no rupture or bleeding, you do not need to give an injection. You only need to wash the scratched area with soapy water, and then apply iodine for disinfection.

Tip:
Generally domestic cats do not carry rabies virus, but wild cats and stray cats are more likely to carry the virus.
