The treatment of canine distemper generally includes infusion therapy, atomization, monoclonal antibodies and interferon, antiemetics, etc. Canine distemper is an extremely violent infectious disease caused by the canine distemper virus. The onset of this disease is very rapid and the course is long. It will damage the dog's body system, including the digestive tract system, skin, nervous system, respiratory system, etc. In the later stages of canine distemper, dogs may even develop some neurological symptoms. Therefore, it is recommended that owners take their dogs to the pet hospital for treatment in time after they are infected with canine distemper virus. The sooner the dog is treated, the greater the chance of recovery.

Methods to identify whether a dog has canine distemper:

1. The simplest method: use a canine distemper test paper to check whether the dog has canine distemper.

2. Measure body temperature to see if there is bidirectional fever: Usually canine distemper is no different from a common cold at the beginning. Check the dog's temperature every six hours to see if it has a fever in the morning and evening and is better at noon. An increase in body temperature in the morning and evening is an obvious characteristic of canine distemper.

3. Cracked paw pads and nose: Many dogs in the early stages of canine distemper have this condition, which is very different from a cold.
