Causes of dogs limping

1. Leg injuries

First of all, observe whether the dog’s legs are injured. If there is a wound, it should be cleaned immediately. You can spray some medicine to reduce inflammation and bandage it. If you cultivate yourself well for a few days, you'll usually be fine.

2. Calcium deficiency

If the dog does not absorb enough calcium, it will easily cause the dog to be calcium deficient in the long run. This results in a limping phenomenon.

3. Arthritis

The problem with arthritis is that due to long-term loss and tearing, the tissues on the joint surface are eroded, resulting in joint stiffness and pain. It will also be very obvious when the dog starts to have difficulty moving.

4. Dysplasia

Dysplasia leads to elbow or hip joint deformity, which will make the dog's sitting or walking posture strange. Without surgical intervention, this disease will remain with the dog for life.

Solutions for limping dogs

1. Leg injuries: You need to use gauze to press to stop the bleeding. After cleaning the wound and foreign matter, apply antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs.

2. Calcium deficiency: You can supplement your dog with calcium or feed it bone broth without condiments.

3. Arthritis: Conservative treatment with nutritional supplements can be used first to help the dog supplement nutrition and care for the joints. If it does not improve after a period of time, please seek medical treatment in time.
