The sitting posture of cats with folded ears is the same as that of humans, and their legs cannot be bent. Because the hind limbs are stiff and accompanied by severe pain, they have to sit down to change their center of gravity to relieve the pain. Some cats with folded ears will adopt a standing posture when they are sick, and their hips will swing very obviously and to a large extent when walking.

Symptoms of cats with folded ears:

1. The joints of the limbs of cats with folded ears are swollen, and the toes are also deformed due to joint swelling.

2. The tail of a cat with folded ears is thick, short, stiff and unable to bend, and the tail cannot swing.

3. The hind limbs of cats with folded ears are too short and have unusual bends, growths or masses.

4. The hind paws are abnormally thick. If you observe carefully, when the cat sits upright, the pillow meat of the hind paws cannot touch the ground.

5. The toenails of cats with folded ears grow abnormally, and the pads will be thicker than those of normal cats.

6. Folded-eared cats will also have similar symptoms on their forelimbs, but the symptoms are milder than those on their hind limbs, and they will habitually lift their feet.
