First prepare the necessary tools: pet eyewash, cotton swabs, cotton pads, and paper towels. Bring the cat over and lie belly up between your legs.

Then put 2 drops of eyewash on its eyes and let it simmer for 10 to 15 seconds. At this time, you have to hug it. No cat likes water on its eyes. If you are not careful, it will take advantage of the loopholes. To escape, if you are a novice, it is recommended that two people work together.

Afterwards, use a cotton pad to gently wipe its eyelids (not the eyes!). You can basically wipe off the dirt easily. For the inner corners of the eyes that are difficult to wipe, use cotton swabs. Don’t use cotton pads and cotton swabs repeatedly, replace them with new ones once or twice, so take out some when preparing.

When cleaning a cat’s eyes, it is best to clean one eye before doing the other one. Do not do it both at the same time. This will easily annoy the cat and prevent it from cooperating well. After cleaning your eyes, use a tissue to lightly wipe the soaked hair around them, and you're done.
