2. Comb your hair before taking a bath. Combing your dog's hair before taking a bath can comb out the knots in your dog's hair, otherwise it will be difficult to untie them when it gets wet.

3. After combing the hair on the dog's body smoothly, trim the dog's nails. The main purpose of trimming the dog's nails is to prevent the Afghan Hound from scratching the owner by moving around during the bath, so the dog's overly long nails must be trimmed first.

4. Prepare bath water for the dog first. As for whether the bath water temperature is suitable, you can let the dog test the water temperature with his paws first. If the Afghan Hound does not reject it, you can start bathing the Afghan Hound.

5. Flush the dog. The owner can cover the dog's eyes with his hands or rinse them with water from a cup to prevent water from entering the eyes. When taking a bath, it is best to control the water temperature at 38°~40° throughout. 7. Use a large towel to dry the dog's water. Prepare a large towel to wrap around the dog, preferably an absorbent towel, and then wipe it dry by pressing it, which can absorb the water on the dog as quickly as possible.

8. Blow-dry your dog’s hair. Be sure to blow dry, otherwise it is easy to get skin diseases if it is wet.
