Do cats only recognize one owner?

Cats don’t recognize just one owner. Cats' memories of their owners will last about half a month. If this period of time passes and the owner has not taken them back, they will forget their previous owners in order to adapt to their new life. Cats are naturally sensitive, so when they change environments and owners, they have an adaptation period. If someone else feeds the cat for a long time and treats it well, the cat will also become dependent on this person and will consider this person as its new owner.

How cats recognize their owners:

1. They are more tolerant of their owners. If a cat does not recognize its owner, it will not tolerate the owner always holding it and stroking its fur at will. Only when the cat recognizes its owner will it not resist the owner's caressing, closeness, and teasing, but will just cooperate obediently.

2. Like to follow the master. After the cat recognizes its owner, it will like to follow the owner's footsteps. Even if the owner goes to the toilet or goes to the study to work, the cat will follow the owner, or sit aside and wait for the owner to finish their own things, even if it is just quietly watching TV with the owner. It will use this kind of companionship to express its loyalty and love for its owner.

3. Willing to let the owner take a bath. Cats are afraid of water, so they have some resistance to bathing. But if the cat already trusts its owner very much, although it is still afraid and nervous when the owner bathes it, it will not resist, but will obey the owner and be willing to take a bath.
