You can take the cat to the pet hospital for vaccination after it is 2 months old. The cat’s first immunization requires three shots of infectious disease vaccine and one shot of rabies vaccine. It is recommended that you take the cat to the pet hospital for an antibody test two weeks after the cat is vaccinated. If the antibody test fails, the cat needs to be vaccinated again.

Things to note after the cat is vaccinated:

1. If the cat is just brought home, it needs to be fed and observed at home for a week. After a week, if the cat is in bad health If everything is normal, you can take it to the pet hospital for vaccination.

2. If the cat has not been vaccinated or the vaccination has not been completed, do not take the cat out to interact with animals of unknown origin, bathe the cat, etc., and do not change the environment and food to avoid physical discomfort in the cat.

3. It is not recommended to vaccinate cats too early. If the cat has not been completely weaned, maternal antibodies may interfere with the immune effect, so it is best to vaccinate the cat after the cat is 2 months old.

4. If the cat has symptoms such as sneezing, coughing, etc., the vaccination time needs to be delayed to prevent the cat from causing other diseases due to reduced resistance.

5. After vaccination, it is best to take the cat to the hospital for observation for about half an hour. If there is no allergic reaction such as tears or swollen face, take the cat home.
