Causes of yellow cat hair:

1. Improper care. If the pet owner bathes the cat frequently and uses a shower gel that is not specifically designed for pets, it will cause the oil on the hair to fall off and cause the hair to turn yellow.

2. The food is too salty. Feeding cats human food frequently is too salty for cats. Feeding for a long time will cause hair loss, yellowing of hair, and tear stains.

3. Infection with parasites. If the cat is not dewormed regularly, it is easy to be infected with parasites, and the parasites will rob the cat of nutrients, causing the cat to be malnourished and its hair to turn yellow.

4. It is in the moulting period. When a cat is in the moulting stage, its hair is determined by the genes of its parents. If the previous generations had yellow hair, the cat's hair will turn yellow when it moults.

5. Insufficient nutrition. If pet owners feed their cats low-quality cat food or food with low protein content for a long time, they will not be able to obtain sufficient energy from the food for daily needs, resulting in yellowing of the cat's hair.
