Dog abdominal tumors that feel hard to the touch may be caused by liver tumors, spleen tumors, breast tumors, ovarian cysts, etc. It is recommended to go to the hospital for imaging examination to confirm the location of the tumor. It may also be caused by factors such as breast inflammation and skin diseases. If it is an umbilical hernia, it may heal on its own if it is not serious, but if it is serious, timely surgical treatment is required.

Symptoms of abdominal tumors in dogs:

1. Abdominal tumors in dogs are divided into tumors of the abdominal wall and abdominal organs. Tumors on the abdominal wall are usually subcutaneous lipomas or breast tumors. You can see lumps under the skin that protrude from the skin surface. They are firm to palpation and the local skin temperature increases. This may be accompanied by depression and loss of appetite in dogs.

2. If it is a tumor of abdominal organs, there will be symptoms such as increased abdominal girth, loss of appetite, depression, etc. B-ultrasound or X-ray is usually required to confirm the diagnosis.

3. If a dog has a surface tumor, it can generally be observed with the naked eye as a mass like a flesh ball.

4. Tumor-susceptible groups are all older animals, and it rarely occurs in infancy and youth.
