Cat grass can be grown hydroponically. Generally speaking, there are two methods of growing cat grass: hydroponics and soil cultivation. Cat owners can choose a more appropriate method to cultivate cat grass according to the actual situation. But whether you are growing cat grass in hydroponics or soil, you must first choose high-quality seeds. Generally speaking, you can buy oat seeds or wheat seeds online.

Notes on hydroponic cat grass:

1. Hydroponic cat grass must be soaked and germinated first. Select some plump cat grass seeds and soak them in clean water for 8 seconds. About an hour is sufficient. In summer, the soaking time can be shortened appropriately, while in winter, the soaking time needs to be extended.

2. The hydroponic method requires preparing a seedling tray of appropriate size. After soaking, cover the prepared seedling tray with absorbent paper and wet it with water. Then spread the soaked seeds, and in about three days, tender green buds will grow.

3. Hydroponic cat grass needs to be given sufficient sunlight. After the small buds grow, you can place the seedling tray in a place with sufficient light, so that photosynthesis can be better carried out. But be careful to avoid prolonged sun exposure. When it grows to about 10 centimeters, it can be harvested for cats to eat.
