The Samurai Dog is also more playful in nature. To guide it to learn to shake hands, you can start from its "playful" nature.

First of all, the trainer should let the Su Mu dog sit quietly facing himself. Then, the trainer extends a hand toward the dog with the palm upward. The outstretched hand should be kept at a certain distance from the dog and cannot be licked. In order to better attract (lure) the Samurai dog, you can put some snacks that dogs love to eat (such as chicken jerky, beef jerky, etc.) on your hands.

Secondly,at the beginning, the dog will not understand the trainer’s intention, so the trainer should remind the dog at this time. You can tap its paws with your hand to signal it to extend its paws. The moment Su Mu stretched out his paw, he took the opportunity to hold its paw firmly, then said "Hello, hello" and shook his hand a few times.

Finally, after shaking hands, gently put down your dog’s paw. At the same time, he expressed encouragement and praise to the Su Mu dogs. You can pet it or give it some delicious food as a reward.

PS: Training a Samurai dog to shake hands is not something that can be completed in a day or two. Once you start training, you must keep doing it. This training can not be ended until the Su Mu dog develops a conditioned reflex and develops the habit of shaking hands.
