It’s normal to feel depressed after taking a shower. Because cats are afraid of water, lack of energy is a stress response of cats, and cats may also lose appetite. However, this lack of energy will only be a temporary phenomenon. It will not take long for the cat to recover from it and regain its energy and appetite. But be careful if your cat catches a cold after taking a bath. At this time, you need to keep it warm.

Cat bathing precautions:

1. Kittens cannot be bathed. It is not recommended to bathe newborn kittens and they cannot be bathed. Generally, the first vaccine is given to cats after 10 weeks of birth, and then they can not be bathed one week later.

2. Don’t bathe too frequently. Frequent bathing of cats will destroy the protective oils in the cat's fur. Dry fur will be susceptible to bacterial parasites and cause skin diseases.

3. Do not use human body wash. Cats' skin is different from that of humans. Using human body wash will destroy the protective oils on the surface of the cat's skin, causing symptoms such as itching, allergies, and dryness of the cat's skin.

4. Cut your nails before bathing. Trim your cat's nails before bathing to avoid scratching yourself during the bath. It is best to prepare some plastic gloves and try to bring them with you every time you bathe your cat.

5. Prepare special tools for bathing. Before taking a bath, prepare a bathtub, brush, towel, comb, air blower, eye ointment, etc., and control the hot water temperature at 38-40°C.
