Some experts believe that the key to dog health is immunity. The dog's immune system is a complex system. It is like a joint army, fighting together to crush invasions from different infectious substances including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and attacks from the latest cancer cells at any time. What are the common ways to immunize dogs?

Dog immunization methods include:

1. Passive immunity

Passive immunity means that dogs directly acquire specific immunity to a certain pathogen through some means. For example, puppies obtain maternal antibodies by sucking the milk of their mother dogs (natural passive immunity) or antibodies obtained by artificial injection of hyperimmune serum (artificial passive immunity). Although passive immunity allows dogs to directly acquire immunity, it remains in the dog's body for a relatively short time and cannot be regenerated after consumption.

2. Active immunity

Active immunity refers to injecting a certain pathogen into dogs (the pathogen is relatively safe for dogs after being inactivated, weakened or genetically recombined, and can induce the body to produce immunity, which is commonly known as a vaccine or vaccine) ), after a period of time, specific immunity against the pathogen is generated. This immunity has memory, that is, after encountering the same pathogen again, it can generate strong immunity in a short period of time, so that the dog will not be infected. Infection causes disease, so active immunization is the best way to prevent infectious diseases.
