Every obedient Border Collie will obey you very much. It will understand in its heart that you are its "master", not a friend.

If the dog staying by your side appears to be well-trained, it will definitely put you in a good mood; but if it messes you up in front of others and makes a fool of yourself, it is not its fault, but your teaching. No method.

To avoid such embarrassment, dog training should begin when the dog first arrives at your home.

The dog's obedience and trust in you are based on this reason: the dog believes that you, your family and itself belong to a team. Just like in a pack of wolves, there is also a strict hierarchy in this team- You must make the dog realize that it is the lowest level in the group. Only under this premise can your dog become an obedient dog.

Always teach your dog, and don’t hesitate to criticize it when it does something wrong; don’t be stingy with your rewards after it completes the action you want. In addition, give the dog the security and happiness it needs, because this is the responsibility of the team leader. After you do what you should do, your dog will worship you even more and obey you. The dog thinks that you are its master and king, so it will naturally develop the desire to follow you in the beginning. The trouble with this desire is that until you train your dog to be more obedient, your dog will always follow you around. Don't show impatience, as that will upset your smart dog. There's nothing wrong with the dog, it just wants to be with you, and you should tell it in a more personable way how a good dog should behave.

You need to train your dog to wait, which comes in handy many times.

First, let your dog sit on the ground according to your command. This posture is conducive to the dog's concentration, so it is good for any training you will do next. Then you tell it with gestures and words at the same time: "Don't move here." At this time, you leave your dog, not very far, just to see if the dog can stay still when you leave. If the dog does not move from its original position, walk back to encourage it, give it some food, stroke its neck and shoulders, and let the dog see your expression of appreciation.

You know, a dog cannot understand you at all, no matter how smart the dog is. If you sometimes think your dog is "empathetic", it's just because it remembers the way you praised it.

On the contrary, if you find that the dog moves after you left, you should immediately go back and repeat the training just now, and use your expression and body language to tell the dog that you are very dissatisfied with its performance just now. If you keep doing this repeatedly, the dog will understand that you want it to "don't move here"true meaning.

In the future, you can gradually extend the time and distance you leave, and the dog will gradually get used to waiting for you to come back after doing things.
