Ears: Large erect ears, slightly tilted back, erect when nervous or alert. When relaxed and natural, the angle of the two ears is about 45 degrees, and a certain distance between the two ears is maintained. The ear canal is clean, free of secretions and odorless, and the left and right ears have the same temperature, keeping them warm and cool.

Nose: The nose is moist and cool. No dryness, no heat, no runny nose.

Eyes: Large and round, but not too protruding. The distance between the eyes is slightly wide, and the eyes are clear and bright. There should be no blue or white membranes, and no abnormal secretions, such as excessive yellow eye droppings, tears, etc. Especially dark brown or jewel color is better!

Teeth: White and hard, with a flat incisal bite or a serrated bite. There is no bad odor in the mouth, and the teeth are white and regular. Canine teeth usually all grow out in about two months, and the tongue and gums of puppies are pink.

Observe the dog’s anus. The anus of a healthy dog ​​should be clean and free of redness and swelling, and the fur around the anus should also be clean, free of dirt, clean and smooth.

Neck and shoulders: The neck is slightly arched, and the shoulder blades are high, showing an elegant arc.

Coat: The coat of short-haired species should be soft, tight and shiny (thick inner hair is allowed), and cover the whole body well, while the hair on the head and ears should be sparse; the coat of long-haired species should be The coat should be soft and straight, with long, curly hair. The limbs and toes should be covered with hair, and the tail should be long and bundled. It is best to push it backwards from back to front. There should be no dandruff or parasites at the hair roots. There should be no rice-like red spots on the skin, no lumpy rashes, no large area of ​​hair loss and other abnormalities. Special attention should be paid to checking the inside of the limbs, the nasal fossae and the slit between the claws. The hair on the entire body should be smooth and smooth, with uniform color and no discoloration.

Coat color: Any recognized color is acceptable. If it is a single color, spots are allowed.

Back and waist: The back is short and horizontal. The horizontal length of the topline must be slightly higher. The body of the male dog should be slightly shorter and the buttocks should be slightly arched.

Tail: Short-haired species have a flat tail, moderate in length, sickle-shaped, pointing upward or curled with the backlineThe tip (tip of the tail) and the topline are just touching (not overlapping). For long-haired species, the coat on the tail is also in harmony with the coat on the body.

Chest and abdomen: The shoulders are moderately sloping toward the topline, but not downward or too low. The forechest is plump and well developed, the ribs are round and tight, the abdomen is compact, and the genitals are sound.

Limbs: The forelimbs are straight, the elbows move naturally, the knees are strong and slightly tilted forward, the toes are small and close, but should be well separated; the dog's forelimbs have warm, soft and moist pads. It should not be hot, dry or hard. The toes should be tight, hard and elastic, the nails must be hard and not easily cracked, and the color will vary depending on the coat color. A harmonious match is preferred.

Weight: Try to choose a fat puppy that feels heavy and solid in the palm of your hand. No more than 6 pounds, about 2.7 Kg or less, the same for both males and females, and 1 to 1.8 Kg is the most ideal.
