The main way to determine whether a female cat is in estrus is to observe whether the cat’s estrus symptoms disappear.

The symptoms of cats in estrus are as follows:

1. Owners will find that cats that are usually aloof will become more clingy during estrus and like to be around their owners. Scrubbing around, or lying on the floor twisting around. These are all estrus behaviors.

2. Female cats in estrus often meow. The sounds of cats in estrus will change, some sound like a baby, and some have a very low and hoarse sound.

3. Female cats will urinate frequently and tempt male cats. I want to expand my aura so that more cats of the opposite sex can find it smoothly.

4. The female cat will often raise her buttocks and crawl on the ground with her two legs behind her and the front end of her body, in a posture waiting for mating. If the owner touches the back with his hands, the female cat will become submissive and lower its back.

5. The female cat’s vagina appears swollen. In the early stage of estrus, the female cat's vulva separates and the vulva swells; in the middle and early stage, the outer labia are obviously swollen into two large flaps, accompanied by a small amount of white mucus; in the middle and late stages, the outer labia are strongly swollen and everted, showing obvious four flaps, and the mucus becomes more; in the later stage, The swelling subsided, shrunk and dried, and the pubic hair gradually took on the shape of a brush.
