Methods to determine if your dog is full:

1. The stool is not formed. Under normal feeding conditions, dogs' poop should be in the shape of strips. If the dog's poop is loose and cannot be formed, it means that the dog has been fed too much, and the portion should be reduced as appropriate for the next meal.

2. Touch the ribs. For a normal-sized dog, when you touch the dog's chest, you should be able to feel two or three ribs, or you may not be able to feel the ribs at all. But if you can feel a lot of ribs, basically the dog has eaten too much. not enough.

3. Wandering in the dog food area. After the dog has eaten the dog food, does it leave the dog food area? If you find that the dog is just walking around in the food area and has not left that area, it means that it has not eaten enough.

4. Rest and play. The dog seems very satisfied after eating, wipes his face by himself, and goes to rest or play with his head and tail wagging, which means that he has eaten enough.

5. The abdomen is full. If the dog’s belly is full, it means the food is just right. If the dog’s belly is a little flat, it means the dog is not full yet.

Dangers of dogs eating too much:

1. Indigestion. When the dog's sense of fullness is transmitted to the brain, the food has exceeded its normal intake, increasing the burden on the gastrointestinal tract, so indigestion or vomiting will occur.

2. Cause diseases. When a dog eats more than normal, it may cause excessive obesity. Once it becomes obese, the incidence of diabetes and cardiovascular disease will increase.
