Basic characteristics of the Japanese Silver Fox Dog

Around the 13th year of Taisho in Japan, the dog was improved and bred by crossing the white German Spitz with the Silver Fox. In 1913, the dog became a very popular breed in Japan and was officially recognized as an independent breed in 1952. Dog breed.

Head: Size consistent with body length, moderately broad and round.

Nose: small, round, black.

Muzzle: Pointed, slightly rounded at the tip, very symmetrical. Lips tight and preferably black.

Eyes: Moderately large, almond-shaped, slightly slanted in position, dark in color, with black eyes and face.

Ears: set high, small, triangular, erect, forward, not too far apart.
