It is better to change cat food every three months or so. Feeding the same cat food for a long time can easily lead to unbalanced nutritional intake of cats, which may lead to malnutrition and make cats picky eaters. Choose a nutritionally balanced and easily digestible cat food for replacement. When changing cat food, you should do it step by step and do not change the food suddenly within one day to avoid the cat being unable to adapt and experiencing symptoms of loose stools and diarrhea.

Notes on changing food for cats:

1. During the food change period, cats can be fed with probiotics to promote intestinal digestion and make the cat smooth. The food replacement period has passed.

2. For cats with a fragile gastrointestinal system, it is recommended not to change cat food frequently to avoid gastrointestinal discomfort.

3. If the cat develops diarrhea, vomiting and other uncomfortable symptoms after changing the cat food, it should be sent to the hospital for treatment in time.
