Corgis will not get pregnant after being neutered. Because most pet hospitals will remove the entire uterus and ovaries of a female dog when performing a sterilization operation. 1. Conduct a preoperative examination to evaluate the dog’s own health and whether it is eligible for surgery. It is important to ensure that the dog is in good health at the time of surgery. 2. Do not eat or drink 6 hours before surgery. Otherwise, the food in the dog's stomach may flow back into the trachea during surgery, causing suffocation.

3. Do not take the dog home when it is not awake. It is best to observe it in the clinic first to prevent accidents. After arriving home, choose a comfortable and clean nest and rest in a ventilated area.

4. It is recommended that the dog be hospitalized for 7 days after surgery to prevent them from being active and causing wound tearing or bacterial infection.

5. Wear an Elizabethan ring to prevent it from licking your wounds.
