My husband and I, who love dogs, got a dog as soon as we had our own little home and the conditions allowed us to raise a dog. After comprehensive consideration, we chose the ugly, cute and small French Dou. Fa Dou is small and does not take up any space in our small home of dozens of square meters.

When little French Dou first came home, my husband and I were very excited. As long as we were at home, we would hug him and never let him go. We would watch TV, play and sleep together. We bought him a lot of toys and lots of food. I felt like he just couldn’t get enough love. Give it the best! Although the dog has its own food bowl and delicious food, every time we eat, it still looks pitiful, squatting next to us and watching us, wagging its tail while looking at us , it feels like the hala is about to flow out. Whenever this happens, I can't bear it and feed it a little bit while eating. I feel very happy, and the dog also loves to eat the food I cook! He is really a good boy of his mother!

Just when we had become accustomed to it, the dog suddenly felt uncomfortable. I still remember it was a weekend. When we were going to give the dog a bath after walking, we found that there were a lot of red spots in the folds of his fleshy skin, just like eczema on human skin. No wonder the dog felt like he was raising his eyebrows in the past few days. The paws scratched a lot more, probably because the itching was very uncomfortable. Looking at the patches of red dots, we were really worried and hurriedly took the dog to the pet hospital near our home.

After the doctor performed a systematic examination on the dog, he determined that it was a skin disease and asked us how we usually take care of it. After learning that we often share our meals with the dog, the doctor severely criticized us and said that since we decided to raise a dog, we should learn some basic feeding knowledge, such as that we should not feed dogs food that humans eat. , because some of the nutrients in the vegetables cannot be absorbed by dogs, and the salt content in human meals is too high for them, which can easily cause skin diseases. It’s not that we just let the dog eat if he wants to. First of all, dog parents should set rules and insist on scientific feeding, so that the dog can stay with us for a longer time!

From that moment on, we learned a lot about scientific dog-raising knowledge. We often consulted doctors, studied online ourselves, and consulted dog friends around us. I remember the doctor told us that the little French Dou's own immunity is relatively low, and his skin has many folds, which can easily trap dirt and breed bacteria. If it is not cleaned properly, it can easily cause bacterial infection and cause skin diseases. Therefore, you need to clean its skin more often, and also supplement it with nutrients that can enhance skin health. After we took our dog to see him for medical treatment, he recommended us puppy food specifically for French Bulldogs. He said that this food contains nutrients that can support the dog's own immunity and skin health. We changed the dog's food to this food after we returned, and we cleaned his hair more diligently. No matter how greedy he was when we were eating, we didn't dare to feed him any more. Since then, the dog's physical condition has slowly improved and he has no more rashes.

After experiencing the pet hospital incident, we truly realized that there is still a lot to learn to be a qualified dog parent.
