Methods for checking Toxoplasma gondii in cats:

1. Use test strips or PCR detection. First of all, the test paper method is simple to operate. Generally, you need to soak the cotton swab with diluent, then put the collected stool into the diluent and mix it well. Then use a dropper to put the sample to be tested into the test hole of the wet paper for inspection. The Toxoplasma test paper has two bars. If two lines appear, it means that the cat has Toxoplasma gondii.

2. Take the cat’s blood for PCR test. A positive result indicates the presence of Toxoplasma gondii.

Symptoms of cats infected with Toxoplasma gondii:

1. Cats will have symptoms such as anorexia, lethargy, elevated body temperature and diarrhea.
