Puppies that keep shivering may be caused by factors such as nervousness, fear, cold, physical pain and discomfort. If the puppy has just arrived in a strange environment or is suddenly frightened, it will be in a nervous and frightened mood, and will curl up in a corner and tremble. At this time, the owner can gently stroke the puppy with his hands to calm it down. If the living environment is too cold and causes shivering, the owner can use an electric blanket or other items to keep the dog warm. Shivering is caused by illness, such as colds, canine distemper, and canine parvovirus infection. If the owner finds that the dog has other symptoms besides shivering, he should go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time.

Signs of a cold puppy:

1. The dog will hide. When a dog is really afraid of the cold, it will choose a warmer place to hide and sleep. Sometimes it will choose a sunny place to sleep, but usually it will sleep under the owner's bed.

2. The body keeps shaking. When a dog feels cold, its body will directly express coldness to its owner, and it will tremble. Therefore, when pet owners see their dog’s body trembling, they should keep it warm.

3. Unwilling to move. Dogs are very lively and active. If your dog is not sick or injured, but it is unwilling to move, it may be that it feels cold and has no desire to exercise.

4. Curl up your body. When dogs sleep in the summer, they like to sleep on the ground with their legs spread apart, which will keep them cooler. In winter, when dogs feel cold, they will curl up and sleep, burying their limbs and head in their bodies to keep warm.

5. Dogs show anxiety. Also, when a dog is really cold, it will show anxiety. The dog may not be able to sit still, look around, walk back and forth, behave abnormally, etc.
