Dog vaccine allergies are divided into acute allergies and chronic allergies. Acute allergies will cause swelling of the face and mouth, and in severe cases, convulsions, death, etc. The dog must be given a desensitization injection immediately for treatment. Chronic allergies generally resolve within 12 to 48 hours. During this period, you may experience poor appetite, drowsiness, and good mental status. Desensitization is usually not recommended for chronic allergies because desensitization shots will affect the production of antibodies to the vaccine. The current vaccine allergy rate is relatively low, about one in a thousand, so don’t be nervous. For the health of your dog, you must get vaccinated in time. Prevention is better than cure.

Notes on dog vaccination:

1. If the puppy is just bought from a big market, it is best to raise it at home for 2 weeks and then observe it. If there is no abnormality, then get the vaccination. This can avoid interference with the immune plan due to physical decline due to stress response or the incubation period of the disease.

2. Dogs with unhealthy physiques, such as colds, allergies, severe calcium deficiency or parasitic infections, should be immunized after recovery to avoid unsatisfactory immunity.

3. Dogs that are too young (less than 6 weeks old) should not be vaccinated prematurely due to the presence of maternal antibodies in their bodies.
