Feline-borne infection is contagious. It is a chronic, progressive and fatal infectious disease in cats caused by feline infectious peritonitis virus (FIPV). It appears in the form of peritonitis, massive ascites accumulation or various organs. Granulomatous lesions and high mortality rate are the main clinical features.

Symptoms of abdominal transmission in cats:

1. In the early stage, the appetite becomes poor, the spirit is not very good, the body temperature rises, and the weight gradually decreases.

2. In the later stage, wet disease spreads to the abdomen, manifesting as jaundice, difficulty breathing, diarrhea or vomiting, or even anemia, abdominal distension, a fluctuating sensation on palpation of the abdomen, and ascites inside.

3. In the later stage, dry abdominal disease manifests as organ lesions, visual impairment, lymph nodes can be felt by touching the abdomen, and jaundice and anemia may still occur.
