When the dog does the command correctly, say to the dog: "Well done" in a soft tone and volume, and then stroke its head.

"Well done" and "This is wrong" can be widely used when teaching your dog some commands. And induce the dog to think on his own. After using it frequently, the dog will be emotionally encouraged and there is less need for food inducement methods.

(4) Always let him know that you are the master

No matter how much you love your dog, you must let him know that you are on top of him. The class concept of dogs is only vertical, not horizontal.

Food is a way to distinguish between classes, and the one who gives food is the boss. When a dog wants to bite its owner when it can't eat, then I can only say that it doesn't regard you as the boss yet. A dog's class concept must be established from an early age, and some dog breeds have a very strong class concept and may only listen to one or two people in the family. This aspect also needs to be paid great attention to from an early age.

When a puppy does something wrong, let the dog understand the majesty of the owner and give it appropriate fear. It is best not to hit the dog every time, because after being hit, it will become "disobedient without hitting", and it will be useless even if it is scolded, or even just listen to the words of the person who hit it. It is very easy to develop a stubborn and fearful character. When I was training Gongmaru when he was young, if he did something wrong, my method was to immediately catch him and bring him to the scene to punish him. Press its head and let it "see" or "smell" the place where it did something wrong. Point to that area and tell it "This is wrong." After scolding, we cannot comfort the dog immediately and train it to stay at the scene of the mistake again. Poor us will clean up the mess in front of it. Dogs will remember what they have done wrong and understand right and wrong. Afterwards, it will act like a baby tentatively, and usually just touch its head and it will be very happy.
