Things to note before vaccination:

1. Before vaccination, you must ensure that the cat is in good health and has no abnormalities in mental condition, appetite and defecation. Then take the cat to the pet hospital for vaccination.

2. If you bring a new cat home, it is recommended to keep it at home for at least a week and then consider taking it for vaccination if everything is normal.

3. Be careful not to take the cat to take a bath before vaccination to avoid diseases caused by stress in the cat.

Procedure of triple vaccination for cats:

1. The first vaccination of kittens’ basic immunity is between nine and twelve weeks old, and the second vaccination is the same as the first vaccination. Vaccinations should be given three to four weeks apart and once a year thereafter.

2. If adult cats have not been vaccinated before, they need to be vaccinated twice. If they have been vaccinated before, they only need to be vaccinated once a year.

3. Regarding the immunization program for stray cats: In epidemic areas where infectious diseases are prevalent and in winter and spring, attention must be paid to the isolation and observation of stray cats. If conditions permit, immune globulin or serum can be injected. Two weeks later, the vaccine can only be injected after confirming that the body is healthy, and the group can be mixed after seven days.
