Examination of dog respiratory obstruction
Respiratory obstruction is a critical illness caused by foreign matter entering the dog's throat or bronchi. If timely treatment is not taken, it can be life-threatening.
The main reason is that foreign bodies are accidentally inhaled into the respiratory tract due to insufficiency of swallowing, causing obstruction.
Clinical manifestations; 1. Foreign body in larynx. 2. Foreign body in the trachea. 3. Foreign body in bronchus.
Inspection methods; 1. General inspection, auscultation and palpation. 2. X-ray examination. 3. Laryngoscopy and bronchoscopy.
