Infection with canine parvovirus presents with two types of symptoms: enteritis type and myocarditis type.

1. Enteritis type: The incubation period of natural infection is usually 1 to 2 weeks. Symptoms of infection often include depression, loss of appetite or anorexia, fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. The stool is gray or yellow in the early stage, and then May be bloody.

2. Myocarditis type: Dogs infected with myocarditis are mostly puppies. Infection often occurs without warning, and sometimes mild diarrhea occurs, followed by sudden heart failure, difficulty breathing, heart auscultation murmur, and death within a short period of time.

Treatment methods for dogs suffering from parvovirus:

1. Antiviral and anti-inflammatory treatment. If a dog suffers from parvovirus, it must be promptly injected with immune antibodies, parvovirus antibodies, etc., as well as antibiotics to prevent secondary infections, and symptomatic treatment is also required.

2. Rehydration treatment. Dogs infected with parvovirus will experience severe vomiting and diarrhea, so the dog must be replenished with energy in a timely manner, usually through intravenous injection.

3. Nursing treatment. The main thing is to keep the dog warm and prevent the loss of body temperature, and during the treatment period, no food or water should be allowed.
