It will not disappear on its own, but lipomas are divided into two types: benign and malignant. Benign lipomas have little impact on the dog's body, so as long as the tumor does not compress major tissues and organs, there is no need for surgical removal or excessive intervention. However, malignant lipoma will spread to various parts of the body in a short period of time. Therefore, malignant lipoma generally requires intervention such as drug treatment and chemotherapy to prevent the tumor from spreading throughout the body.

Treatment of lipoma in dogs

1. Benign tumors only need to be removed. If the tumor is relatively small, you can leave it alone.

2. Pay attention to the dog’s diet and metabolism for lipoma. Surgery is not recommended for dogs that are too old and have lipoma.

3. If the dog is young, in good physical condition, and has large lipomas, it is recommended that surgical treatment be best.

4. Malignant tumors must be treated in time, such as surgical resection, chemotherapy, conservative treatment, etc. Failure to treat the dog in time may lead to the death of the dog.
